Therapy Fees
No surprise billing and no hidden charges. All sessions are delivered by Psychotherapists in Ontario, with immediate receipts provided for insurance submission. Effective January 1, 2027, our session fees are as follows:
Student Therapist
$50
per 50-minute session
- Clinically supervised by an experienced Registered Psychotherapist
- Completing advanced Master’s degrees in counselling psychology
- Direct booking with no application screening required
- Designed for students or private pay without insurance coverage
Individual Psychotherapy
$150 to $180
per 50-minute session
- CRPO licensed practitioners matching your clinical needs
- Covered by most Ontario extended health benefit plans
- Receipts sent immediately after payment
Couples & Relationships
$180 to $240
per 75-minute session
- Specialized clinicians trained in Gottman Method and EFT
- Extended 75-minute sessions for structured communication
- Balanced, non-blaming space where neither partner is scapegoated
- Itemized receipts provided for individual or split claims
Insurance & Benefit Coverage
Psychotherapy is not covered by OHIP. However, services provided by Registered Psychotherapists (RP) and Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying) are covered by most workplace extended health benefit plans and university packages.
- Accepted Plans: Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, Green Shield, Desjardins, Blue Cross, and others.
- Student Coverage: Eligible under WUSA, WLUSU, and Conestoga CSI student health benefits.
- No Doctor Referral: You can book directly with us without needing a physician note first.
We do not direct-bill insurers. You receive an official receipt containing clinician license and registration details via email as soon as payment is processed to submit for quick reimbursement.
Payment & Cancellation Policies
Payment is automatically processed at the conclusion of your session using a credit card stored securely on file through Jane Payments.
- Tax Deduction: Under Canada Revenue Agency rules, fees paid to a CRPO-registered psychotherapist can be claimed as eligible medical expenses on your annual personal tax return.
- 24-Hour Cancellation Policy: We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment without penalty. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or missed entirely are billed at the full session rate.
